	The meter starts measuring immediately after being switched on. The display is updated every second. 	It requires continuous mains power supply during the measurement. If the device is switched off without downloading the data and switched on again, the recorded data will be lost. If disconnected from the mains, it has a battery life of about 10 hours, but only for the internal clock.
